The Anton Schimmer & Co company was founded in 1917 in Tachau /Sudetenland and produced stilted items out of wood and horn which were even then sold all over the world.

In 1950 the headquarter had to move to Schesslitz / Bavaria, where the company is now run already in fourth generation as a family business.

The range of products contains apart from wooden beads in different sizes, shapes and colours also turned, milled, sawed or stamped items, accessories for games like dice, pawns and draughtsmen and even components for wooden toys.

Obviously all guidelines and DIN norms for the production of toys are kept - and this guarantees a high quality standard.
